At the heart of Pollen is a universal swappable battery designed to work across different vehicles, brands and markets. Thanks to our Electronic Cell Switching technology, the battery can safely power vehicles with different voltages and power demands.
When energy runs low, riders remove the battery from their vehicle and swap it at a nearby station. Instead of waiting hours to charge, they continue their ride in seconds.
The swapping station
Pollen stations are automated swapping hubs distributed across the city. Riders insert a depleted battery and retrieve a charged one instantly.
Behind the scenes, the stations charge batteries, manage availability and monitor battery health, creating a seamless network where energy is always ready when riders need it.
How to swap
- 1Insert a depleted battery
When your battery runs low, go to a Pollen station and insert the depleted battery into an empty slot.
- 2Grab a freshly charged battery
The station recognizes the returned battery and automatically releases a fresh one, in seconds.
- 3Insert it into your vehicle
Take the charged battery, and place it in your vehicle. Once all your batteries have been swapped, you're ready to hit the road.
